mARTin

Here are favorites that have been hanging on the refrigerator or the walls so long that they are disintegrating. Can't let that happen. I've packed them away and put them up here...

Taran's comic style art "The Boy in Black."  I love the expressions on the hapless hero.

Emma's painting of a house, a tree, and some people done in later grade school. I loved the colors and thick lines. The picture here doesn't convey it as it is.

Calvin's hand from the first week of kindergarten. Precious. That's a penny next to it for scale.

Paper Round Up

A gathering of the papers that I just couldn't let go:

Taran's idea of what makes life good.
"Life isn't about work, it's about your family and the time you spend with them.-Taran"
Taran in the paper.
Emma's ideal Christmas.
Emma's Christmas poem, written for the last Christmas.
A comic of Emma's day.

Run with the Police

While Emma (the photographer), Taran, Enoch (pictured here), and Calvin waited at the park while David and I ran.

David ran pushing Willa and Oscar.

I just ran.

Then it was the kids' turn.

Calvin came in 4th!

Then we all had fun playing with the Police toys!

May Day Canceled

We helped prepare for the parade by painting large dragon puppets at the park.

But the weather the day before was super rainy with a chance of tornado tomorrow. Still, the morning of was just a bit drizzly, so we went. But it had been called off. Fortunately, many of us did not get the news. And we partied anyway.

It was magical.

Amazing.

And just a bit noisy.

And here's a picture of Calvin:
