Even before summer began, David left Minneapolis, hearth and kin, to do physical labor with his brother-in-law, JB and his bees. He spent his days caring for and moving bee boxes from sun up to sun down. It was a time for him to leave the academic world and it's trappings and live as a man of the earth.
